Position: Truck Driver
Job Description
We are currently looking for 4 energetic and enthusiastic workers who have experience driving Trucks. Each employee will need the appropriate licence to be able to:
Level 5:
- Drive a Rigid Vehicle with 4 or more axles and a GVM exceeding 13.9t
- Drive a rigid vehicle and heavy vehicle combination with 3 axles and a GCM of 22.4 t or less
- Drive an articulated vehicle with 3 or more axles and a GCM of 22.4 t or less
Level 6:
- Drive a Rigid vehicle and heavy trailer combination with more than 3 axles ad a GCM greater than 22.4t – up to and including 53.4t
- Drive an articulated vehicle with more than 3 axles and a GCM greater than 22.4t
These are full-time roles, located in either Gol Gol NSW, or Monduran QLD – the location will vary depending on seasonality
- Ordinary hours of work are 7am to 5pm, 6 days per week but will vary to 7pm during peak season June to September
- 38 hours of work per week provided.
- Pay rate is based on the- Road Transport and Distribution Award 2020, the role has a commencement date of January 2023
- The applicant must have work rights in Australia.
- The applicant must have experience in tractor driving
- At least 3 years previous experience necessary. Work will be physical & very demanding, and all applicants must be willing to relocate depending on seasonality
Workers must be prepared to follow all relevant heavy vehicle road transport and health and safety laws, including the Simfresh fitness for work policy, that incorporates fatigue management and alcohol and drug use.
