Position: Horticulture Labourer – 1 Alloway Siding Road Alloway
We are currently looking for 100 energetic and enthusiastic workers who will be involved in the picking and packing of both our citrus and Fig products. Each employee will be assigned to one or more of the following roles;
- Picking citrus (paid by piece rate)
- Pruning our citrus trees
- General farm hand work
- Sorting or packing all types of citrus products in accordance with specifications (size, quality etc)
- Stacking all types of citrus for either domestic or export markets
- Picking figs
- Packing figs in accordance with the specifications set out
Theses are casual roles with 9 months of work provided
Located in either 3245 Monduran Road Monduran or 1 Alloway Siding Road Alloway you will work between the two locations depending on seasonality.
Pay Rate: Horticulture Award 2020 Level 1 ($26.73 includes the casual loading)
Role to commence: 10 January 2023
Applicant must have work rights in Australia.
Minimum of 30 hours work per week will be provided, however no guarantee of continuing work beyond the 9 month period.
No previous experience necessary. All work is physical both indoors and outdoors, depending on the season. All equipment will be supplied. Simfresh has strict policies regarding health and safety, fitness for work and zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol at work.
